In Igoumenitsa, just outside the town on the South side of the New Port, where all the ferry boats arrive, there are currently (July 2014) excavations being made. The site is just next to the coastal road to the South. Meanwhile some information are available, noting the site as the building remains of a Roman villa with peripheral wings around a central roofed room. - Below right: The site seen in 2018 from the ferry boat. |
